Nutrition Services
Nutrition Coaching
Nutrition counseling or medical nutrition therapy, is used to prevent and treat diseases such as diabetes, obesity, autoimmune disease and heart disease by assessing the clients' nutritional needs, then designing a plan of proper nutritional intake and lifestyle changes.
Pediatric Nutrition
Good nutrition is not only essential for proper growth and development but also helps fight infection and disease. Pediatric nutrition counseling focuses on promoting behavior change to motivate kids and families to make positive lifestyle changes.
Food Allergy
Management
Food allergy reactions are serious and can be life-threatening. A registered dietitian can help you navigate food allergies to ensure you are getting the nutrients you need while safely avoiding foods that you are allergic to.
Feeding Therapy
Feeding is a journey. Feeding therapy is used to help individuals with difficulties related to feeding. Feeding therapy helps children of all ages develop and improve feeding skills while ensuring your child is meeting their nutritional needs.
*All programs take dietary restrictions for health, religious, or personal reasons into consideration.
My Philosophy
There is no "one size fits all" program for improving health and overall well-being.
I believe that when you change a clients relationship with food, you can create healthy, realistic habits that are sustainable and life changing.
Through nutritional counseling and structured goal setting we work together to develop strategies focused on meeting your individual goals.
Whether you are worried about your child progressing across the food continuum, meeting their nutritional needs, how to introduce more foods into a picky eaters diet or are looking for guidance on how to improve your own diet and well-being.
I'm dedicated to helping you and your family develop healthier habits to promote wellness.
What To Expect
Accredited
Professional
A Registered dietitian is a nutrition expert who has completed their bachelor's degree followed by an internship and national registration exam. RDs must complete continuing education requirements to stay up to date in their field.
All dietitians are nutritionists but not all nutritionists are dietitians. Registered dietitians are licensed to practice medical nutrition therapy and have the knowledge and experience to provide truthful and trustful information.
Science-Backed
Strategies
Evidence-based nutrition is the difference between fact and opinion.
Registered dietitians follow evidence-based practice guidelines to develop individual dietary recommendations for clients based on systematic reviews of evidence and assessment of the benefits and harms of treatment options.
Personalized
Holistic Approach
Every program includes working with a Registered Dietitian who provides a personalized nutrition plan allowing clients to develop a deeper understanding of food and lifestyle choices.
